Drying methods: Hang dry them by putting the stalks together and wrapping a rubber band or string around them, then tie them up and allow them to hang in a well ventilated warm, dry space, away from the sunlight. The length of time will vary from a week to a month until they are totally dry. Then you put them in a glass jar (recycled one is great too), cover, label the contents along with the date. Keep them in the whole form until ready to use, that allows them to hold on to their medicinal constituents for longer.
note: herbs lose their aliveness after a year which means they are no longer active in healing capabilities.
